Dr. Elise Kramer from the Miami Contact Lens Institute shares with us what she looks for when choosing a dry eye treatment. Testing is extremely important to understand the root cause of the #dryeye. Utilizing patient questionnaires such as the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) or the Standard Patient Evaluation of Eye Dryness Questionnaire (SPEED) are great tools to assess a patient’s subjective experience of dry eye symptoms in order to produce more objective data that can be used to better manage and treat the patients dry eye.
