Welcome to my channel l Pekeng Ilokano channel is about History of Racing Pigeon of World Famous and Legendary Pigeon Fanciers.
Improving pigeon stamina and oxygen levels involves a combination of proper nutrition, supplements, and training.
Pigeons are surprisingly tough little birds! Their stamina is quite impressive—they can fly long distances at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour (about 97 kilometers per hour) and can cover hundreds of miles in a single trip. Homing pigeons, in particular, are known for their ability to find their way back home over these long distances, thanks to a combination of visual landmarks, the sun, and Earth's magnetic field.
Pigeons, like all birds, have a high metabolic rate which requires a substantial amount of oxygen. Their respiratory system is highly efficient, with air sacs that allow for a continuous flow of air through their lungs, even during exhalation. This ensures that their blood is always richly supplied with oxygen, supporting their high energy needs, especially during flight.
