We give our pigeons peanuts (peeled and unroasted) as a delicacy and a valuable addition to the Long Distance pigeon races. Pigeons love peanuts. This food increases the pigeons racing prestations. The pigeons get more fats to burn during the pigeon races. If you want to do it right, you can teach the pigeons to eat peanuts as a young pigeon. You can do that by simply sprinkling some crushed peanuts in the food bowl or feeding tray (before feeding the regular food). If they don't eat it then give it out of your hand, once they love it, they will do anything for a peanut.
