This month we took a trip to the UK to visit a few friends and partners from all over the country and see how they have been doing. The first stop we made was at James Cook, in Blackhill, Beaworthy. His father Derek Cook started racing pigeons in 1950's, James then took the heritage further at 11 years old and started breeding and racing pigeons himself, eventually beating his dad in a competition. James also took over the breeding loft which you can now find under the name of Tumley Lofts Stud. Some of the main origins in their pigeon loft include Leen Boers, Janssen's, and Jan Aarden, each contributing to their success in racing and breeding.
We learned a lot talking to James and we hope this interview will be useful for you as well. Leave your thoughts in the comments.
