Luci does medication retrieval, item retrieval, and will alert my husband in the event of a seizure or faint when at home. Service dog fact: “Get help” out of sight/off leash is not an ADA compliant task. While Luci can use this task at home, he will not do the same in public. Outside the house, he is trained to stay with me and elevate my legs to help with blood flow & prevent dislocations when unconscious in the rare case I need to lay on the floor in public. He is also trained to bark on command for help, while we consider training him to bark for help automatically when I lay flat on the floor.
