Martin de Poorter, a fancier who has a passion for extreme long distance racing and especially for the international races. You will see in the pedigrees from the offered pigeons, all are descendents from proven birds on the international extreme long distance races.

Martin is building a basic strain of pigeons which evolves around 3 pigeons. Rainman, New Rainman and Levi. Rainman won 1st National St Vincent Zlu 2012, Levi won 1st National St Vincent Zlu 2013 and New Rainman won 1st Npo Bergerac 2015. These basic birds are crossed with the best marathon bloodlines there are in holland but also through inbred they are kept pure. You will see in the auction, all offered birds are from these 3 basic birds or closely related to them. The vision on the colony and basic strain is simple, they have to be able to race top on the day of liberation and also the next day (overnight).
