I went and picked up some new young homing pigeons about 40 minutes from my loft in a neighboring city I use to live in and three got out of the cage by accident and I thought they were going to fly back home to Piqua but they came back the next day. I guess they figured maybe they can find some food around here.???? the experience has been amazing because the (Birds was only here 20 minutes and after escaping I thought for sure I was going to lose them, but they hung around????
