Servicing a @oneupcomponents_official Dropper seatpost is very easy to do. Vital Tech Editor, Jonny Simonetti, filmed the entire process in this step-by-step teardown and rebuild service of the OneUp Dropper.

Many mountain bikers are familiar with the OneUp dropper seatpost. It comes in a variety of sizes, has the ability to reduce or extend travel, and features a short overall post height so more lengths can fit inside more frames. The OneUp dropper is also easily serviceable. To prove the point, we dug into our 240mm OneUp dropper post to see exactly what was inside.

Service requires common tools and about 20-30 minutes of time. We were able to fully disassemble the post, inspect all of its internal components, and reassemble it. Service manuals on the OneUp website are easy to follow and clearly describe what to expect during the service process. On top of the simple service procedure, all service parts are available direct to your door from the OneUp website, making this a job that nearly any at-home mechanic can complete
