Dr. Rebecca Berger is an academic hospitalist, assistant professor of medicine, and Assistant Chief of Hospital Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She spends her time caring for patients admitted to the inpatient medical service, teaching residents, and working on projects to improve hospital operations and the quality and safety of hospital care. Rebecca obtained her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 2009, her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2013, and completed her internal medicine internship and residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in 2016. She served as a NEJM Editorial Fellow from 2016-2017 and worked as a hospitalist at MGH before moving to Weill Cornell in 2018.
