This film was made for the Dutch Pigeon Organization (NPO) because Geert became 1st national champion middle distance (nominated) 2022. However, after the season there turned out to be a fraud in his federation which resulted in Geert finishing 2nd, just behind Falckenborg-Nyhof. In consultation with the NPO, it was decided to finish and edit the film after all, but then as a 'promotional film', not belonging to the series with national champions.
