On August 1st, under stunning conditions, the finale of the fifth edition of the Türkiye Premium Pigeon Race OLR took place. With professional support, the 2,441 entered pigeons were prepared for an impressive cycle. The finale proved to be a significant challenge, with the pigeons traveling from the eastern direction back to their home base near Bursa, a journey of over 500 km. More than 800 pigeons were still in the running, and they returned home beautifully, with the winning speed clocked at 1,411 meters per minute.
On PIPA, the top pigeons from this remarkable race are now up for auction. These birds, coming from well-known bloodlines, exhibit remarkable endurance and resilience, making them highly sought after.
