So you want to start a RACING pigeon team? Here is how! part 1

Whether it's for $20,000 in prize money, for the love of racing and competition, or just to spend time together with the family doing something other than watching TV or computer games. Here's how you can get started in the sport of racing pigeons. This isn't an exhaustive list, nor will it be entirely correct for your circumstances or region. But as there aren't many videos out there for the curious soon-to-be pigeon fancier I thought I'd put this together to help answer some of the common questions.

When I wanted to find out more about how to get started in racing pigeons I wasn't sure where to look, who to ask and what I needed to do. I'm far from an expert, but I wanted to share what I found in my first young bird season with anyone else who is looking to dip their toe in the fancy.
