Migraine is a neurological disorder with intense headaches and various symptoms, which affects the quality of life of millions of people and impacts their lives and work. Optimal migraine management includes lifestyle changes, acute and preventive medication, and self-care. Pharmacists play a vital role by educating patients on triggers, recommending non-prescription pain relievers and triptans, and ensuring proper use of medicines. This event will explore different options for the pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of migraine and provide guidance on how pharmacists may provide counselling to patients.
