The pigeon history maker! In the 2003 racing season, Brian Sheppard was the first British fancier to win 1st open International. I was the NFC Press Officer at that time and travelled down to Trowbridge the day after the race to cover the event in the fancy press. It was a great thrill to handle Champion 'Legend', the UK's first International winner.
