With 4 pigeons in the national top 100, starting with the 3rd national, the Rans brothers can look back with satisfaction on their main goal of the season.

As renowned enthusiasts in long-distance pigeon racing, Barcelona is naturally one of the major goals of the sports season every year. The anticipation for the pigeons was high, and soon they could experience the satisfaction of their pigeons' return after Special Frans (BE21-2073743) was recorded on the day of release at 21:53, having covered a distance of 1,059 km. Only the national winner of Vincent Schroeder and the third pigeon of Frans Bungeneers managed to outperform Special Frans on a national level. He was also one of only 13 Belgian pigeons that succeeded in returning home on the day of release. The following day, Jeroen and Stijn continued to score successfully, clocking 23 of their 29 entered pigeons. A fantastic overall result on 'their' Barcelona.
