Peter Crans has a truly unique approach to pigeon racing: he competes exclusively with hens on widowhood, and most of them never even see a cock. In this video, he shares the secrets behind his exceptional system and the strategies that make it so successful.

He starts the season with around 30 hens, focusing on one-day long-distance races of over 500 km. The cocks only race as young birds. His loft, measuring 3.20 meters, is divided into a hen loft and a young bird section housing an average of 55 youngsters. Additionally, he has a dedicated breeding loft for 11 breeding pairs.
