In this video I discuss my reason for sending heavy pigeons on the training toss as well as the obstacles and reason for losses we experience in the sport today. The Truck Training Toss was from 155 miles and first time through the Berkshire Mountains. Our Racing Pigeons the are getting ready for the IF Convention race. The pigeons have been 85 miles as their longest toss and today they were liberated with about 350 pigeons from the concourse trailer. I have about 80 remaining on the team and I am missing about 25 from today's toss. Hopefully most will be home in the morning. Pigeons learn from adversity if they return after the adversity. Weather was cool and clear. As you will see, even the most experienced fanciers can have trouble getting the pigeons home. #racingpigeons #pigeonvideos #pigeons
