'Battle of the Bands' LP Record (1971): A photo show of one of the best 'rock' albums of the 1970's. Some of the bands featured were: The Impalas / Shakin' Stevens & the Sunsets / Rock n' Roll All Stars / Wild Angels / Gene Vincent & The Houseshakers. A brilliant album! I love all my old photos of the ‘band’ years, but must say the black and white ones are some of my favours! In this batch there is a great old photo of the ‘Impalas’ recording at Morgan Studios for their track on the 'Battle of the Bands' LP Record in 1971. The Impalas line-up was the same one that played at the Gene Vincent London Palladium gig in 1969, ‘Charlie’ Chaplin, Keith Read, Keith Mott and Tony Claiden. (December 2022)
