The late, great Eddie Cochran is one of my ‘all time’ favourite Rock n’ Roll artists. Eddie had a long string of hit records, being a brilliant singer and world class guitarist. I love listening to his records, a lot of the time at work in my office and really enjoyed playing his stuff with the ‘Impalas’ and 'Rockmobile' back in the day. My favourite Eddie Cochran track is ‘Summertime Blues’ and loved playing it with most of the bands I played with in the day. I have made up a little photo show video on this post of two very old tracks of us playing ‘Summertime Blues’. The first recording is Keith Read and me, both of the ‘Impalas’, in the ‘Shed’ sessions in 1969 and the other is with ‘Rockmobile’ at the Telegraph in Brixton in 1973.
