In this webinar, 4 panelists will cover interoperability of data to boost efficiency in trade, and to speed traffic in light of key challenges in international trade. Starting with a deep dive into the evolving regulatory landscape, the webinar will spotlight eFTI with its objectives and its impact on supply chains and trade. Reflecting lessons from the Gateway²Britain pilot initiative we will elaborate on the establishment of a "fast lane" and its implications on operational procedures.
Turning to the data required for this fast lane to be operational, insights will be provided into challenges in data collection and platform approaches for capturing high quality data. The Third part of our webinar will discuss how distributed governance principles can support safe and secure data handling with particular focus on use cases in trade relations between, for instance shippers and insurances or authorities. Based on these concepts, we exemplify the implications of these approaches referencing pharmaceutical supply chains as a prime example. With global pharmaceutical trade in mind, from cradle to patient, we will stress commercial, and regulatory perspectives for effective supply chain management and outcomes that matter for patients and corporations. The webinar concludes with a Q&A session.
